| Principal,
Mr. Joe Pitura |
| I am Joe Pitura
and I am the proud Principal of Lehigh Acres Middle School.
My number one
goal is student achievement!! Our students had numerous academic
successes during the school year; 98% of our 8th graders scored
a 3.0 or higher on the FCAT Writes, 92% of our 8th graders
scored 3.5 or higher on the FCAT Writes, our 7th graders had the
largest math gains in the district. Our AVID program will be the
largest middle school program in the district and our gifted
program is achieving at high levels.
Our students work
hard and we celebrate our successes. Every quarter we celebrate
our honor roll students, reading goals, and behavior goals. We
even had 6 dances last year.
Welcome to Lehigh
Middle school- Go Bruins!! |

Assistant Principal of Discipline,
Mr. Forrest Walker,
Jr. |
|
My name is Forrest Walker, Jr., and I am the Assistant Principal
of Discipline here at Lehigh Acres Middle School. I am a
graduate of Bethune-Cookman College, where I received a B.S. in
Business Administration, and Nova Southeastern University, where
I received an M.S. in Educational Leadership. This is my 2nd
year as an Assistant Principal. I am the proud parent of two
lovely daughters Zoe and Amiya. My role is to instill in our
students that obstacles lie in our paths to make us better
individuals and productive citizens; that discipline is not the
enemy of enthusiasm, but the force that moves us forward. |
